A Saturday Morning Sweat + Smoothie

Good morning, and welcome to my blog! After months of contemplation during quarantine, I decided to return to my roots and start blogging again. It seems we are going to be in this social distancing phase for the long run, so I figured there was no better time to get my creative juices flowing again.


A Saturday morning post seemed the best way to kick off the site. I started off my morning with a fun little barre workout. I found an hour-long video on YouTube and went from there!


After my challenging wake-up workout, I headed down to the kitchen to whip up a smoothie that I prepped last night. And let me tell you, it was yummy. I’m talking peanut buttery banana goodness. You know when the smoothie tastes just like ice cream? Yup.


Here’s the recipe if you’re interested in recreating it!


  • 1.5 frozen bananas

  • ½ cup of Almond milk (I use Almond Breeze)

  • 2.5 tbsp of all natural peanut butter (I use Skippy Natural)

  • A squeeze of honey

  • A few shakes of cinnamon, just for a little pizzazz


Then, blend all the ingredients together until you have your desired consistency. For me, the more ice cream-like the better. Enjoy!
